What was your favourite thing about school?
Wellfield was a small to medium sized high school which created a great 'Everybody knows your name' culture.
What was your post-16 choice once leaving Wellfield?
Football Apprenticeship with PNE.
What was the biggest transitional issue you faced when you started college/work?
Taking two buses each way to work and back each day plus the long hours.
How did school prepare you for the workforce and the real world?
I was captain of the School Football Team and a prefect which helped me develop my communication, team building skills and improved my confidence.
What was your career pathway?
Football, Coaching and Leisure, Manufacturing, Night School with internal courses to Lean Process Improvement.
