Wellfield Academy is pleasantly situated in spacious surroundings, only a few minutes’ walk from the centre of Leyland, and is therefore readily accessible from Clayton Brook, Clayton-le-Woods, Whittle-le-Woods, Croston, Buckshaw, Eccleston, Chorley, Euxton and Farington districts by transport networks.

At Wellfield Academy, our values of inclusivity, aspirational and community centred form the foundations of the educational experience our students receive. We are more than a school: we are a community that embraces diversity, fosters aspirations and celebrates individuality. Our commitment to knowing each student personally allows us to tailor our approach, by recognising and nurturing their strengths. Our exceptional staff are dedicated to creating a learning environment that is both engaging and supportive.

Open Evening

Our annual Open Evening is a chance for prospective pupils and their families to see our school in action. With exciting displays, in-class demonstrations and activities, it is a great opportunity to meet our pupils and speak to members of our staff in detail about their subjects and what we have to offer as a school.

Our Open Evenings take place in September each year. We hope you will be able to visit our school with your child. Full information about our next Open Evening will be available before the summer break, so please keep checking our website or follow us on social media to keep up to date with the latest school news.

If you are unable to attend, but would like to visit us on another day, please contact our school office to arrange a tour and out staff will do their best to accommodate your schedule.
